Burma – signup here please guys

Just think what it must be like to live in Burma if you’re not involved in the military junta? I have the utmost respect for all those guys in Burma who have put their lives and their families lives on the line to stand up to the authorities. Try and imagine yourself in their situation – these days the authorities have so much power over the people it is almost impossible to imagine a French revolution or England’s Cromwell. It’s only when the guys in charge have some shame is it possible (i.e. Eastern Europe and the ousting of the communists)

Realpolitik (and the Iraq debacle) prevent the world from doing much concrete but we can at least sign this petition. Please do so……
